Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek
There is no doubt that there is no other place that is as beautiful as Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek when it comes to mountain panorama and sunrise over the mountains of Annapurna. Ghorepani Poon hill Trek is highly acclaimed for the fantastic views of the highest mountains in the world and it requires no efforts in return. This is an introductory trail for Himalayan trekking that does not require acclimatization and that is one sole reason for attracting thousands of trekker from all around the globe. The summit of this trekking is Poon hill 3210 m which offers a 180 degree view of saw – toothed, soaring mountains.
Ghorepani Poon hill trek makes its way through Pokhara. Pokhara is one of the most beautiful cities in Nepal and is the gateway to Annapurna. After spending sometimes screening the picturesque Pokhara, we embark on our trails from Nayapul, which is about 2 hours away. We walk on both man made steps as well as the trails that is carved out on the ridge of the hills that climbs all the way to the lush green knolls, blanketed by beautiful Rhododendron of different hue, which intermingles with beautiful villages inhabited by indigenous Gurungs and Magars.
Although every stop is significant Ghorepani and Poon hill are two most important point of interest. Ghorepani which means horse water was a famous rest area for horses at the time of ancient Silk Road trade and Poon hill is an early morning hike from Ghorepani which is well renowned for its panoramic views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu:
On this day you arrive to Kathmandu and we transfer you to your hotel. After arriving at the hotel you rest and rejuvenate and observe the locality. A member of Himalayas Facts Holidays will brief about the itinerary on this same day.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu city and Patan City::
While our back end personnel will be busy making arrangements for the day to come, we would take the privilege to go around the city and look at some interesting historical relics. On this day we would visit Swayambunath; famous as monkey temple as well, Basantapur Durbar Square; an ancient palace courtyard, and Patan Durbar Square

Day 03: Kathmandu-Pokhara::
Kathamndu – Pokhara (820m) 06:00hrs drive by private Car.

Day 04: Pokhara - Naya Pul (1050m) - Tikhe Dhunga (1500m)) 04:00hrs.:
After breakfast drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 05: Tikhe Dhunga - Ghorepani (2850m) 6:00hrs.:
Today we cross Magar village Ulleri(1960m).Trek continues through rhododendron and oak forests and final climb to Nangethanti (2430m). From Nangethanti we reached to Ghorepani(2850m). Overnight in Lodge.

Day 06: Ghorepani - Poon Hill (3210m) – Tadapani (2630m) 06:00hrs.:
Early morning hiking to Poon Hill to see the panoramic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung and Neighboring Himalayan ranges as well as sunrise over the endurable Himalayas. Having great views of Sunrise and panoramic view of Himalayas, descends to Ghorepani and continuous trek along the ridges of rhododendron and pine forest to the Tadapani (2630m). Overnight in Lodge.

Day 07: Tadapani – Ghandruk (1940m) 04:00 hours walk.:
After breakfast heading to Ghandruk. Ghandruk village is a gigantic Gurung village. There is a handicraft centre and Gurung museum. From this village you could observe good views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna (7455m.), Annapurna III (7755m.) and Fishtail Peak. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 08: Ghandrung – Birethanti (1050m)-Pokhara (820m) 05:00hrs.:
Trek down to Nayapul, and tow hours car drive to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel

Day 09: Pokhara - Kathmandu (1310m):
Drive by Car / Van / Tourist Bus (6:00hrs) or Fly (25minutes).

Day 10: Kathmandu- Departure::
Departure transfer to onward destination.
